Etisalat launches e-shop with Comtrust

800-888-3463 24-hour Toll Free Number set up to assist customers

The Emirates Telecommunication Corporation, Etisalat, is set to launch E-SHOP, its online business centre during GITEX, as the latest part of its drive to provide the best services to its customers.

 

The new e-commerce application service will be available to all Etisalat customers. It can be accessed via the Internet by entering the domain name www.etisalat4me.co.ae or by using Etisalat's WAP interface and following the simple registration process.

 

To assist customers with any queries about the new website, a Toll Free number is also being established to provide 24-hour support. Calling 800-888-3463 will connect you with one of the dedicated agents at Etisalat's Contact Centre who will be able to assist at all stages of the easy-to-use website.

 

Our main objective when we started to develop the E-SHOP concept was to provide our customers with access to Etisalat at anytime from anywhere through multi-channel access," commented Mohammed Al Fahim, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Etisalat. "Now if you have electronic access, WEB or WAP based connectivity, you can be served online. Many of our services can be accessed from the comfort of the home, the convenience of the office or even on the move.

 

To ensure the success of the interactive service, E-SHOP is being launched in phases with additional features and services being added on a regular basis.

 

Initially subscribers will be able to access and view their bills online and settle outstanding amounts using their credit card. Bills can be viewed as current month, previous months, total outstanding, current amount due, payment history and payment status. Detailed bills will also be available to subscribers who have visited Etisalat to verify their identification and confirm registration.

 

In addition to bill inquiry and payment, customers during phase one will be able to subscribe to GSM, DEL Star services, and WAP services and also track the status of their applications. They will also be able to report and track faults on any of their lines/services and carry out basic account management such as changing their address.

 

The development of E-SHOP will continue to meet the demands of our customers," explained Khalid Al Kaf, General Manager, Network Services who headed the team that developed the E-SHOP service. "In this e-market place, our speed in development is aimed at consolidating our vision to become a technology service leader, bringing innovative and creative ideas so that Etisalat continues to be a trend leader.

 

E-SHOP has been developed in conjunction with Comtrust, Etisalat's highly successful e-commerce subsidiary. The website and its payment facilities have been specially designed using the latest online security services providing subscribers with complete peace of mind when conducting online transactions.

 
A secure and robust payment system is integral to any e-commerce venture to facilitate on-line payments. For E-SHOP, Comtrust is providing its Internet based on-line payment service that guarantees complete confidentiality and security of all transactions made on the site. Added security comes in the form of Comtrust's Digital Server Certificate, which will help E-SHOP secure personal and credit card information of its customers.
