ADDF launches website

Participate in “Win Dhs 5 Million” on Line

Abu Dhabi Duty Free has launched its website at www.abudhabidutyfree.co.ae. The website is not only for the duty free but for all the airport’s services, with sections for Airport Hotel, Airport Golf Club, Golden Class and Inflight Catering as well as Duty Free.

 

Within the site, there is constantly updated information about all the airport’s services, a price checking facility for duty free products, online booking services, information on the latest promotions and new arrivals, product catalogues and much more.

 

In another innovation, tickets can now be purchased online for Abu Dhabi Duty Free’s various raffles: ‘Win Dh5 million’ raffle, the ‘Win Mercedes Benz C200K’ raffle as well as the ‘Win a Range Rover’ raffle.

 

Mr Mohamed Mounib, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Duty Free, said “we decided to launch 5 new websites for Abu Dhabi Duty Free, Golden Class, Airport Hotel, The Airport Golf Club & Academy as well as Abu Dhabi International Airport Catering in order to create a more interactive, two-way communication between the airport and the public. Our customers can now keep up to date with all the latest events, promotions and developments at Abu Dhabi International Airport at the touch of a button as well as taking part in our world-renowned raffles. The website will be updated on a very regular basis so we would like to encourage our customers to log into the site frequently.”

 

Each of the Abu Dhabi Duty Free, Golden Class, Airport Hotel, The Airport Golf Club & Academy as well as Abu Dhabi International Airport Catering, has its own web address however, all sites can be accessed thru www.addf.ae or abudhabidutyfree.co.ae
All the sites are informative and offer in depth information into all the commercial services of the airport.

 

The site has been designed, developed and integrated by GTFS, a Bin Zayed Group company, with Comtrust’s storefront ‘Quickshop’ and payment service along with necessary security aspects. ADDF joins an ever-growing list of customers to use Quickshop, from Comtrust, the e-business unit of Etisalat, for its online retailing requirements.

 

Commenting on the partnership, Saoud Abdulaziz Al Shamsi, Sales Manager, Comtrust said, “We are delighted to be working with ADDF and happy that they recognize Quickshop to be the ideal solution for their online needs. The flexibility of this package allows the company to get online with the minimum of fuss and disruption, because the payment service is seemlessly integrated with the storefront. As a consequence no additional interfacing is needed.” Referring to possible future growth and an increase in online traffic, he added, “The solution is also scalable. So as the company’s online offerings grow, the solution can expand with it, thus keeping future investment at a minimum.”

 

“Comtrust’s Quickshop facilitated the fast and effective deployment of an e-retailing service for Abu Dhabi Duty Free,” said Patrick Macanaman, Managing Director of GTFS. “The package comprises storefront software, web space, credit card based online payment service, digital server certificate and other necessary features for merchants to set up their online venture quickly and cost effectively. Added security comes in the form of Comtrust’s Digital Certificates, which will help Abu Dhabi Duty Free secure the personal and credit card information of their customers”.
