Comtrust, the e-solutions business unit of Etisalat staged a comprehensive forum in Abu Dhabi today, highlighting the benefits of e-business. Talking to over 150 representatives from the public and private sector, leading industry experts from Comtrust outlined issues regarding integrated e-business strategy, online security, dedicated ehosting and secure epayments.

Also presenting at the forum was Husam Dajani, Vice President of Oracle ME who outlined the new strategic alliance between Oracle and Comtrust, specifically forged to reduce the complexity for businesses, in deploying and managing integrated solutions while lowering their total cost of ownership. In addition, to highlight local business issues, a spokesperson from the Department of Finance presented their dedicated servers hosting experiences by being a Comtrust customer to the attending delegates.

Comtrust e-Business Forum has been designed specifically to address the issues and promote the business values of e-business in the Middle East. Speaking to the delegates, Ahmad Abdul Karim Julfar, General Manager (Designate), Comtrust commented, “There is a growing trend of organizations realizing the need to integrate an e-business strategy with their traditional lines of business.
