1. Make sure Server software is installed and it supports 128 bit SSL. Comtrust Server Certificates support the following web servers:

   • IPlanet Web Servers (Installation Procedures)
   • Apache Server (Installation Procedures)
   • Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.01 (Installation Procedures)
   • Microsoft Internet Information Server 5.0 (Installation Procedures)
   • NetScape Enterprise Server 4.0

   For other Server Software, please check with Comtrust Support at 800-2-900.





2. Make sure Domain name is registered for company name that appears on your Trade License.





3. Comtrust will require the following proof of identity as a part of authentication process:

   • Copy of trade license- Power of attorney
   • Domain name ownership proof
   • Copy of owner's passport/sponsor

   Please handover these documents to your Account Manager or Registration Authority, Comtrust on request. Please also handover payment for the Server Certificate; in case you do not prefer online credit card payment. For credit card payment, please provide credit card number and expiry at the time of enrollment.





4. Generate Certificate Signing Request & Public & Private Key. For help on generating CSR with various web servers, please refer to your software manual or help documents available at http://www.comtrust.co.ae/repository.htm. You could also request for help by calling Comtrust Support at 800-2-900
   
   Please make sure to take a back-up copy of Private Key on a floppy and store it securely.
   
   Please note that you will be required to copy and paste CSR in the space provided in online enrollment form.





5. You will be required to accept online agreement. Please click here to review agreement at this stage.




6. Acceptance of online agreement will take you to enrollment page.




7. Please enroll for the certificate up to the password hint field. Fields with * are compulsory. Please note that you will be required to provide password chosen at this stage at the time you want to revoke your Server Certificate.





8. Copy contents of the CSR file from the line with "begin statement" to the line with the "end statement" (both inclusive) into the field provided for CSR in the enrollment page.
   
   Please make a note of Reference number given after the enrollment.





9. The approval of Server Certificate may take immediate to five days after enrollment is done, identity documents are provided and payment is made. You will receive e-mail with link to download page for you to download certificate using reference number provided after enrollment.





10. Please make a back-up copy of Server Certificate on floppy and store it securely. Install your Server Certificate. For help on installing Certificate, please refer to help documents available at http://www.comtrust.co.ae/repository.htm or call Comtrust Support at 800-2-900.
